Design concept

The owners wanted an open, bright, and uncluttered home, and chose not to use a conventional sofa setup. The design centers the shared area on the kitchen, dining table, and everyday family interaction, while keeping the fixed finishes restrained.

Living needs

The home supports a family of four, with a grandparent helping with childcare. The owner, a doctor, wanted a bright and orderly home that is easy to maintain, while keeping space for plants on the balcony.

Shared area

Instead of a conventional sofa-and-TV living room, the design gives more importance to the kitchen, dining table, and open activity area, making the 80 sqm home feel more spacious and connected.

Child room

The secondary bedroom is turned into a castle-inspired child room, combining bed, storage, slide, and play space with soft green and orange accents.

Bedroom and bathrooms

The main bedroom stays calm with muted tones, ample storage, and greenery by the window. The bathrooms use clean surfaces and black fixtures to reduce visual clutter and support easier maintenance.

Balcony

The balcony keeps the owner’s planting habit at the center of daily life, connecting natural light, sheer curtains, pale flooring, and greenery into one continuous atmosphere.
